1. Information We Process

Credenza processes certificate template images, recipient names, recipient email addresses, and project metadata provided by users. This information is used strictly for certificate generation and delivery workflows.

2. How We Use Data

We use submitted information to:

• Render personalized certificates.
• Generate downloadable certificate files.
• Send certificate emails to intended recipients.
• Show batch progress and delivery results in the application.

Credenza is not responsible for fraudulent certificate generation or other illegal activities performed by users. Such actions are strictly prohibited.

3. Storage and Retention

Generated certificate files sent by email are uploaded to Supabase Storage and delivered via time-limited signed links. Signed links expire automatically based on configured expiry settings.

4. Third-Party Services

Credenza relies on third-party providers for infrastructure and delivery:

• Supabase for certificate file storage and signed URL generation.
• Gmail SMTP for email transmission.

5. Security

Sensitive credentials are expected to be configured as environment variables in deployment environments. Users should avoid committing secrets to source control and rotate credentials regularly.
